veda-add-package - Add package(s) to project workarea
veda add-package pkg-name...
Adds copies of the package(s) named by pkg-name... to the current project workarea, or to the current working directory if not invoked from within a workarea.

This commands uses the VEDA_PACKAGE_SOURCES variable for locating package sources. It can be set from the shell or via one of the configuration files (cf. veda help, section ENVIRONMENT).
