veda-doctor - Interactively setup, check and repair environment

SYNOPSIS

veda doctor

DESCRIPTION

Interactively setup, check and/or repair your Veda environment.

This version of the command is pretty basic, and only helps you setting up the VEDA_USER_NAME and VEDA_USER_MAIL variables (cf. ENVIRONMENT section in veda help for a detailed description of the configuration mechanism).

EXAMPLES

Trying to run new-package in an unconfigured environment:

$ veda new-package

Please tell me who you are.  You can either run:

    veda doctor

or set the VEDA_USER_NAME and VEDA_USER_MAIL environment
variables manually.

Fixing it:

$ veda doctor
Your name, e.g. John Smith: Wile E. Coyote
Your email address: wile.e.coyote@acme.corp

  * Config file '~/.config/crosstwine/veda/doctor-1.env' rewritten.

Doctor finished.
